How to Unzip Files
Some digital items (wordart, stamps, kits) from the FaithfullyYours Shop are zipped.
The ZIP file format is a data compression and archive format. A ZIP file contains one or more files that have been compressed, to reduce file size, or stored as is. ZIP files generally use the file extensions “.zip” or “.ZIP”
Notice the zipper on two of the folders below.

To unzip and therefore be able to use…
-
Right click on folder and select Extract All.
-
When next window pops up, click on Extract.
-
This will create a new window with same name but now has no zipper.
-
Click on folder and then file of your choice.
If you are unable to do the above, then you don’t have a zip program installed on your computer.
Where can you get a zip program?
Well, for PC users, I recommend WinZip. You can download a free evaluation version of WinZip at http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm. Download the program and then install it. After that, whenever
you encounter a zipped file (a file that ends in “.zip”), just double-click on that file. Your unzip program will automatically open, and you can then choose where you want the unzipped version of that file to be saved on your computer.
You can also find free versions by doing a google search for free zip programs.
