Song of the Spirit

The Second Sunday of Advent

Do you hear the sounds,

the bells and the voices singing their praises to God?

Do you hear the voice speaking to you, calling you by name,

naming you a precious child of God?

Do you know the Word of God sent to you and all on earth,

that all may know the promises of God?

Do you know the Spirit dwelling within your heart,

given to you by God that you might never be alone or afraid?

Then rejoice for you are blessed, the hand of God rests on you,

that you may live in joy and peace.
