Stewardship Saturday – Laugh with me
A couple years ago I received a scrapbook tote full of coordinating scrapbooking embellishments including:
- chipboard
- tags
- buttons
- flowers
- brads
- stamps
- and more
However, it didn’t come with paper. I gathered some photos I wanted to scrap and the embellishments and put together a collage style layout.
I used nature green paper for my background.
For the title, I was inspired by the book at the right. I noticed the tag shape highlighting information above the title of the book and thought it was a great way to highlight a title. I used one of the tags from my embellishment stash and wrote “Who needs toys when you have a” and then used chipboard alphabet letters to spell “BOX”. I cut off part of the tag from the title and made a “file tab” embellishment to put on top of the photo(right side).
Then grouped the photos together and sprinkled in some embellishments. I also found a sticker from my stash “Laugh with me Genesis 21:6″ and adhered to another tag.
Journaling on round tag on right side reads:
Kori you have no problem entertaining yourself and others! Be silly, have fun, be you-nique, be You!
Challenge:
Do you have any coordinating embellishments just waiting to be used? Grab some photos, arrange them collage style and sprinkle in those embellishments. Then come back here to submit to the site and share with others in a future Stewardship Saturday post.
Do you have an idea on how to be a good steward with your scrapbook supplies? Please share here.
