Remembering God Through Creativity

[pintraffic desc=’Fix your thoughts on Him through creativity! That is what this site is about.

The peace I long for is found in trusting and fixing my thoughts on Him.

I need to fill my thoughts with God and His Word.

I need to be more like the psalmist…

Oh, how I love your instructions!
I think about them all day long.
Your commands make me wiser than my enemies,
for they are my constant guide.
Yes, I have more insight than my teachers,
for I am always thinking of your laws.
Psalm 119:97-99

I enjoy being creative and making things with my hands. One way we can remember God is through creativity.  I enjoy these creative reminders to help me remember. A few creative ways include:

  • Faithbooking
  • Journaling
  • Home decor

Here is a video I put together awhile ago showing examples of remembering God through creativity.

How do you creatively remember God?  Please leave a comment below and share.

  1. There is a great book by Emily Freeman – A Million Little Things. It is about God and creativity! I am gaining a lot from reading it. If anyone else has read it or wants to, I would love to share thoughts and insights. Blessings!!

  2. I have that book! Have I mentioned I have a ton of books and love to read? I’ll have to reread it and share some thoughts here on the blog.
