Ribbon Storage

Stewardship Saturday by Debra Armstrong I have a “thing” for ribbon.  I use it a lot in my books.  I bought a cheap DVD/CD storage rack at Wal Mart and when I put it together, I tipped the shelves toward the back (one peg lower than the front) so that the ribbon wouldn’t roll out.  It holds TONS of ribbon spools and easier for me to replace empty rolls than with the dowel racks .  I’ve seen these racks in thrift stores as well.  Just readjust the shelves. Challenge: Organize your ribbons! Then upload to the gallery and share! ——————————————————————————————————————— Got a stewardship tip to share?  Contact me.  If I use in an upcoming blog post, I’ll send you a free...

Clean Off Your Scrap “Desk”

Today is National Clean Off Your Desk Day. Let’s change that slightly to Clean off your scrap “desk”! My scrap studio is actually a room in my basement on the unfinished side. It shares space with the laundry area and my husband’s weight equipment. In this picture you can see the tables I scrap on. The table in the “front” is where I scrap. The other one is for when friends come over to scrap, for other projects or my overflow.  In this case, you can see leftovers from Christmas present wrapping as well as a general catch all area.  So in honor of national clean off your “scrap desk” day, I am going to clean it. And now this is my new, clean(er) scrap desk. I am participating in Soul Restoration ecourse online that starts tomorrow.  I have all my supplies lined up and ready to go.  I also received a Big Shot for Christmas and have it all set up on the far table.  (It’s new, I have to have it out for a little while!) Now it is your turn! Take the challenge and clean up your scrap desk. Leave a comment here and let us know how you did.
