Tagart: Trust in the Lord

Tagart: Trust in the Lord

This has been a long time coming, but the day has finally arrived!  I am so happy to introduce another guest designer to Faithfully Yours…please welcome Nancy Nickel! We have discussed “trusting in the Lord” several times here on the blog.  Trust is a daily need though and today’s faith art piece is too precious. Tagart by Nancy Nickel This tag was created for the glory Art Scripture Challenge. I used the Scripture verse found in Proverbs 3:5a: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart!” It goes on, in the second part of the verse and the next, to say: “…and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” When we put our focus on God, we can be confident that He will guide us in the way we should go. What a beautiful thing it is… to be able to completely and totally rely on God Himself to direct our path through life. There is such peace and joy in the knowledge that we never have to face this world alone! :o) To create the tag: I cut/tore a variety of papers, distressed and inked them, and adhered them to my tag. The sweet image is a new release from Sushi Dolls. I stamped the verse on white and cut it into strips. I thought it looked great on the pretty pink brick paper…like graffiti! I added some lace and some flowers, and finally a decorative pin! Be sure to stop by Nancy’s blog to learn more about her, the scripture challenge and this lovely...
