I visited Courtney’s blog recently and discovered she has started a “faith Friday prompt“.  Fortunately, I found it just a few days after the first prompt, so I’m not too far behind yet!  Be sure to stop by and watch the video she created about this first prompt.  The first prompt is:

Scrapbook/Journal/document your truth

When I first read this I immediately thought of a project I had already done.  I searched the blog and past ezine issues and couldn’t find it anywhere.  So I’m sharing again.

For me, this verse is instrumental when I’m feeling down and negative.  I have to constantly ask myself, “what is truth?”  Whether it be about the circumstance I’m going through or just the negative feeling.  Chances are the truth is not as bad as I perceive it to be.  And that is what I need to cling to-the truth.

Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
Psalm 25:5

For this project, I created the verse and printed out on some cardstock. I stamped “TRUTH” in a shadow ink and framed.  A simple project that speaks volumes to me.  I have it sitting on my scrap table where I can always see it. I often go downstairs to create when I need some “therapy”, so the reminder is always there.

What’s your truth?
