In times of trouble, times of joy, times of sadness, times of celebration who or what do you turn to? This is rather timely as I’m currently working on my faith goal to lose weight while reading Made to Crave and yep, (sigh) in the times mentioned above, I turn to food.
I made this for Patter’s Hymn and Scripture challenge found here. This week’s hymn is Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus by Helen Lemmel. I love the chorus.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
I’ve been singing it all week preparing for this challenge. It has kind of been in the back of mind. (nice and handy to refer to when needed) So I thought it appropriate to make the chorus my background as well. I actually created the wordart in a pink color, but as you can see it didn’t print pink. So I adjusted the rest of project and went with it.
I decided on Colossians 3:2-3 as the scripture I wanted to highlight.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:2-3
