Whoooo Loves You?

I bought these stamps awhile ago and finally am using them.  They worked out great for the challenge over at Stampin Sisters in Christ.
Miesje Flach is the challenge hostess this week!

“Once more will he fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with rejoicing.”  Job 8:21

I heard on the radio the other morning that laughter is healthy, in fact it is infectious. Oh how true that is. When someone smiles it is natural to smile back. It is even very difficult to NOT laugh when we hear others laughing. I believe that God wants us to be happy and to share that with others.  We all go through times that are challenging – although most of us never have to go through all that Job went through! When we do walk through difficult times we have a choice – we can choose to show others that we have given ourselves over to God and His plan for us. Really, for me, there is no other choice.

My husband and I have spent many years working with couples through our church. One statement that is so hard for me to understand is, “He/she just doesn’t make me happy anymore.” Goodness, happiness comes from within! We choose to be happy or not. Mother Theresa said, “Keep the joy of loving God in your heart and share this joy with all you meet especially your family. Be holy – let us pray.” Great quote because loving God is joyful!

This year we got a new principal at our school. He is full of energy and enthusiasm and joy. He sends the students and faculty off for the school day with the following words, “Only you can make it a good day, so go make it a good day!” Love it! Last week was Catholic Schools’ Week and one of the things he did was implement what he called – STOP-DROP-and PRAY. So when a bell rang on the intercom we all stopped, knelt and prayed together for just a minute. It was great.

So in closing… smile, laugh and pass it on – show everyone that God’s love is in us in everything we do and in all circumstances.  Have a good week!  ~Miesje

Make me smile! Create a happy card – happy news – rejoicing in life.

I have a confession to make.  As I was creating this card, I wasn’t in a great mood.  I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and anxious.  But between talking to a friend on IM and creating this card, I began to smile and feel better, at peace once again.  I like how the card turned out, using several stamp sets I hadn’t used before as well as using up scraps!  Can you believe I’m still using up scraps from the He Loves Me kit?  🙂
