Step by Step, Day by Day

I set out to ride today. I was tired. I mean really tired. Yet I knew I really should ride today. So I set out on my route, boy did the road look long, and the little hills I normally take so easily seemed like mountains today!  Yet I knew I needed to do it, because each day I don’t  ride it becomes easier not to. But the route just seemed so long today so instead of looking at the whole ride I encouraged myself to get to my first “check point.” When I got there I talked myself into the next one and the next one and before I knew it I had finished my 12 mile route!

I have had ideas, thoughts, hopes and dreams for Faithfully Yours.  I’ve tried some things, some worked and some fizzled. I realize I haven’t be giving 100%.  I have let doubt and fear get in the way. My mind is filled with debilitating thoughts, not from the Lord.

Well, not anymore…

It is time to step out in faith…

However, God-sized plans take some time mixed with faith.  I’ll be busy working behind the scenes, sharing snippets when I can.  In the meantime, I will continue to share inspirational God stories as well as layouts and other projects to help you remember God and His faithfulness.  I’ll be posting to the blog and continue to send out the weekly faithful Friday emails.

Today I would like to share a story with you from a faithful reader. May you be encouraged and lifted up.

God’s provision in healing

My story starts with the diagnosis of Bipolar Depression approximately 15 years ago. There were the usual ups and downs. The times when you “watched
this other person perform these horrible things”. Then the times of remorse and sorrow. The asking forgiveness of those you’ve hurt, etc. And sadly the repetition of this behavior, that was uncontrollable.
